Excuse my mess as I am in the process of updateing!
I started this site in order to learn more and also to try to help othrs! Wow... it is so unbeleivable to me that Wesley is now 18 and will be graduating this year! he has done so well! Right now he is excited about the fact he is an adult... but say's he wont be a man til he is 21! *laughing* great isn't it? I could never ask for more! Wesley is at this point getting very ready to start into an adult program and the fight that it is going to take to get him what he wants and needs will certainly be a daunting one! He knows basicly what he want... he want a job! he will always new one that is in a supported situation. But far be it for me to complain about that! Here is this young adult who was never supposed to walk talk or anythin! and with the supports he needs he can do it all and them some! So many choices to make for this next few years! So many struggles won! This last year he has gone from being pretty quiet to being social , he was able to have his cecostomy tube removed, is getting his new AFOs soon and is learning alot of things that he can do for himself! he is such a loving soul... I am so blessed to have been given the opportunity to share in Wesleys life! Thank you to all of those who have been there for us and helped us along the way!
This site is dedicated to my son Wesley Paswaters who has mild Cerebral Palsy, disruptive behavior disorder, cecostomy tube & moderate mental retardation.
Hello, Thank you for stopping by!!! I hope that you will go to visit some of other sites I have links to and on the webrings I belong to in order to learn more about the world that I and many other families live in! Learn more about some of the very special people who spend countless hours helping others! Some of these people have very little free time, yet choose to spend it helping other parents. Learn more about the kids who have disabilities. The stories are amazing and will touch your heart and help for you to become more aware of disabilities.
